Congratulations to the 2012 NYC DOE Green Cup Challenge® participants!

Students, teachers and custodial staff from 103 DOE schools in New York City worked together to collectively conserve 687,110 kWh of electricity* and prevented over 1 million pounds of global warming carbon dioxide (CO2)** from being released into the atmosphere in just four weeks.
