Congratulations to the 67 schools who took the 2012 Fall Green Cup Recycle Challenge! During the Challenge, schools united to "Recycle Right, Reduce Waste, and Rethink Consumption"
Over two thirds of the participating schools saw improvement in their recycling compliance over the 4 weeks of the Challenge.
During the four-week Challenge, schools compete for Bin Points by "recycling right" - improving recycling compliance rates and decreasing contamination. Bonus Points can be earned for additional waste reduction efforts such as composting or paperless communications. Weekly bin checks provide instant feedback on your recycling efforts - no weighing required.
